1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using our blood donation platform ("Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. Blood donation in Bangladesh requires donors to be between 18 and 65 years old.

2.2 Blood Donor Eligibility

To register as a blood donor, you must:

• Be between 18 and 65 years of age
• Weigh at least 50 kilograms (110 pounds)
• Be in good general health
• Have no chronic illnesses that would make blood donation unsafe
• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Service, you must register by providing:

• Accurate, current, and complete information
• A valid email address
• A working phone number
• Truthful medical information (blood group, health status)
• Accurate location information

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not sharing your account with others

3.3 Unique Donor Code

Upon registration, you will receive a unique donor code (e.g., BD123456). This code is your primary identifier and is personal and non-transferable.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Accurate Information

You must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Update your information when it changes
• Not provide false medical information
• Maintain accurate location information

4.2 Health and Safety

You agree to:

• Assess your own health and eligibility before donating
• Disclose relevant health conditions to medical professionals
• Follow medical advice and guidelines
• Wait the required 90-day period between donations
• Set yourself as unavailable if you are not fit to donate

5. Blood Donation Guidelines

5.1 The 90-Day Safety Rule

5.2 Voluntary Donation

Blood donation through this platform is:

• Voluntary: No one should be coerced or forced to donate
• Unpaid: Blood donation is altruistic; we do not support paid donations
• Informed: Donors should understand the process and risks
• Safe: Conducted by qualified medical professionals

We strictly prohibit any form of commercial blood donation.

5.3 Right to Refuse

Medical professionals at the donation site have the final authority to accept or reject you as a donor. You agree to abide by their decisions without holding the Platform liable.

6. Blood Request Guidelines

6.1 Legitimate Requests Only

When submitting a blood request:

• Requests must be for genuine medical needs only
• You must have a legitimate relationship to the patient
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Do not submit false, fraudulent, or prank requests

6.2 Emergency Services

7. Prohibited Activities

You must NOT:

Fraudulent Activities

• Submit false or fraudulent blood requests
• Provide false medical or personal information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Create fake or multiple accounts

Commercial Exploitation

• Buy or sell blood or blood products through the Platform
• Use the Service for commercial gain
• Charge fees for blood donation

Harmful Activities

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Engage in discriminatory behavior
• Submit malicious or offensive content

Technical Abuse

• Attempt to hack or compromise security
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts)
• Introduce viruses or malware
• Reverse engineer the Service

Consequences of Violations

Violations may result in warning, account suspension, permanent termination, legal action, or reporting to authorities.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may NOT copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

10.1 Service "AS IS"

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

10.2 No Guarantee of Results

We do NOT guarantee:

• That you will find a blood donor for every request
• That donors will fulfill their commitments
• The accuracy of user-provided information
• Successful blood donations or transfusions

10.3 Limitation of Liability

We are NOT liable for medical complications from blood donation, adverse reactions, or negligence by medical professionals. Blood donation occurs under supervision of independent medical professionals.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion via email or profile settings.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false or fraudulent information
• Engage in prohibited activities
• Required by law or legal process

12. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes via email or website notice notification.

For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal action must be instituted in the courts of Bangladesh.

Dispute Resolution

1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt resolution
2. Mediation: Optional voluntary mediation
3. Legal Action: If informal resolution fails

Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arose.
